$410
SHIPPED
|
|
|
This cam is intended to be used
as the maximum bang-for-the-buck 5.7L camshaft on the market that doesn't
require a more expensive valve train work, excessive tuning or loss of MDS.
*This cam should not be used in
a 6.1 unless installed at 116 degrees or greater due to valve to piston
clearance. |

This MDS friendly cam is strong in the midrange
for those looking for a little more power over the Crazy Jay and still being
able to maintain good gas mileage. |

Our most popular cam is perfect
for both the 5.7 and 6.1 Liter HEMI motor. Excellent power through out
the band. Sure to leave a smile on your face and rubber on the road!
MDS can be kept active for R/T owners looking to keep better gas mileage. |

"SPARTAN MAX" |
218/218 115LSA |
$410 SHIPPED |

|
Slighly more aggressive than the standard
Spartan, the Spartan MAX is designed to provide excellent power through out
acceleration for the 5.7 or 6.1 HEMI's. |

"SRT MAX" <- Click for more info! |
218/222, 114LSA |
$410 SHIPPED |
|
|
This cam is designed
to take maximum advantage of the 6.1 hemi within the limits of it's valve to
piston and retainer to valve seal requirements. It will produce maximum mid
range torque and HP achievable with the stock pistons and valve springs
without creating clearance problems with the stock pistons and valve
springs. Therefore, the name "SRT Max" it's designed to get the max from
your 6.1L Hemi. |

"SRT Max HELL" |

|
This version of the SRT MAX is our "High Exhaust
Lobe Lift" version, called HELL for short. This camshaft is intended for
someone who is getting heads done along with the cam so that they can get
all the options on the exhaust side to accommodate the aggressive exhaust
lift. |

We announced a while back that we were coming
out with our own line of camshafts and they are now available. Essentially
we have 13 different lobe profiles that can be used on either the intake or
exhaust. So the way to build your own cam is to select the intake lobe based on duration @0.050" and lift then select the exhaust lobe
based on
the same thing. Then determine the lobe separation angle desired (LSA) and
then if any advance or retard is desired so given the lobes shown below if
you wanted a 205 intake/209 exhaust duration cam with 0.520"/0.531" lift on
a 114 degree LSA with a 2 degree advance you would order a: C/D/114+2. the
next complication is we also have the ability to play with the ramp
approaches of the lobes so the duration can be increased or decreased by
approximately 5 degrees either way without effecting lift. So if the
duration is reduced then add a "-" in front of the lobe letter or if it's
increased put a "+" in front. So if you took the above cam number and wanted
the same lift but less intake duration and more exhaust you would specify a
-A/+B/114+2 and you would get 200 intake / 214 exhaust duration with 0.520"
intake and 0.531" exhaust lift and the same 114 LSA and 2 degrees advanced.
Piece of cake, eh? For those of you not wanting to get that intimate with
camshaft selection we will have some pre designed cams for given
applications or let us know what you are looking for and we can suggest a
profile. |

first 3.5L cams to hit the market, are ready to improve performance while
maintaining solid gas mileage in your Chrysler V6 vehicle! |
$385 |
|
Inertia V1.1
The slightly
larger version of our 1.0 cam currently being installed and tested in a
few V6 motors. |
$385 |
|
Inertia V1.2
The largest,
most aggressive 3.5L camshafts available, which would benefit greatly with
one of our Edge Performance Torque Converters. |
$385 |
All 3.5L Camshafts include lash caps to reduce valve
train noise.
$200 core charges apply to all 3.5L cams, which is
refunded once useable cores are returned to us.

I definitely recommend measuring base
circles particularly if the lift is over about 0.550" but also to a lesser
extent if the cam specs are 218 duration or over and if the LSA is tighter
or the cam is advanced or retarded. The more the cam varies from the core
the smaller the base circle will have to be.
After researching this, our cam grinder is going to start giving me base
circle diameters for each cam to make it easier to pick pushrods.
I have the aftermarket pushrods available in the 0.025" increments for $65
for 8 if you just have to do an intake or exhaust, or $125 for both intake
and exhaust. They are one piece, 0.080" diameter heat treated so they are plenty
strong. |
